Evil Streak
The Viscious Beast is developing an Evil Streak....
It's hard to tell from this picture but there is a strip of darker brown hair growing on the top of her back, it's her Evil Streak.

Mike has taught her how to jump on command.

Lately she has been starting to look a lot more grown up.
But she still does puppy stuff like chase bugs. If I can figure out how to upload videos I will post it here. I got video of her chasing a bug and one of her chewing on a treat.

4 Months Old
Here's Laynie with the two dogs the day we went to get Jack (Jack Bauer, Laynie's new dog, Cleo's brother). And a few pictures of the two dogs the day we got Jack and then again playing in the yard at my house the weekend after Independence Day.

Cleo turned 4 months old on Saturday. She's growing up so fast oooohhh. Her teeth and claws are very sharp and I have scratches and gouges to prove it. She eats everything you give her except I discovered she doesn't like the taste of ginger. She licked my fingers after I cut some up and she made a funny face and stuck her tongue out in disgust. I'm putting it on the short list of things she doesn't like to eat. So here are a few new pictures of her. She has gained a bunch of weight, probably 6-8 pounds since I got her a month ago but I don't know for sure because my scale is broken.

Crate and toys.
The next day we went to the petstore and spent a bunch of money on toys, food, a crate, a collar, and a leash. So now we're all set up.

Then we went for a walk to grandma's house and introduced her to Joey and Kathy and Grandma and Grandpa.

The rest of the week we spent a lot of time in the yard hunting ants.

We went to visit Uncle Joe, Auntie Laurie, and the kids. Here is Cleo sitting in the grass at their house (sorry no pictures with the rest of the family).

We also did a lot of napping and sitting around.

The day I brought my bundle of joy home!
Friday, 8 June, Day 1.
Here's Cleo in the car on the way home.

We got home totally unprepared. She had no crate, no food, no bowls for water, no toys, nothing. So she found herself a nice cozy spot under the papsan chair.

But I found a nice box for her to use as a temporary house and she got right in.

Day 1 went well.
